Bolivar Lake Lodge

We had a wonderful mini-vacation at the Bolivar Lake Lodge. The house was very clean & welcoming upon arrival & the host even left us a little gift since she knew it was my daughter's birthday & my son's vacation home from the Navy. We enjoyed spending time together with our extended family & loved having access to the hot tub & kayaks while we were there. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you'd need to cook family meals & the layout was perfect for gathering together to play games at night. The beds were comfortable & there were plenty of towels for both the hot tub & bathrooms. We definitely plan to come back soon!

Our stay at the lake house was everything we hoped it would be! We stayed at a lot of different places and this place is one to remember. From the hosts being so kind and generous to all of the fun and relaxing things we had to do there. They went above and beyond to make it everything we needed for our Easter weekend. The house was absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed. My favorite part was the hot tub and the kayaks. The hot tub inside of the shed with the big window to look out over the lake was perfect.

Had a wonderful stay. Coffee in the morning out by the lake was priceless. Beautiful Cabin and property and would highly recommend. Beds were so comfortable and all the lighting inside and out was beautiful at night. Would definitely come back.

The place was amazing, hated to leave. It was beautifully decorated and fully furnished, every detail thought of. The host Laura was very nice, responsive and helpful. We even had a plate of homemade cookies waiting for us when we checked in!! Will be renting again soon!

Host was excellent from start to finish! Very welcoming and lots of little extra touches throughout to make the stay even more enjoyable. Property was beautiful and beyond expectations. Highly recommended, we plan to stay again in the near future.

Beautiful home with a great cabin felling, super clean and had all of the necessities for a long weekend stay. The fishing was great as well, and Laura was a super friendly host and had immediate responses to any questions!

Perfect for our friend's weekend getaway! Spent the whole time relaxing and fishing! Super responsive and helpful hosts! Kitchen was very well stocked and lots of games inside for rainy weather!

This cabin was the perfect place for a buddies golf trip. The location is private yet easily accessible and close to both New Philadelphia and Canton. There were enough beds for 8 guys to each have their own space, the bathrooms were spotless, and I can't say enough good things about the setting and the outdoor amenities. This house is also within 20 minutes of a few great golf courses and within 5 minutes of a brewery. 10 out of 10!

This place in the small town of Bolivar is the perfect weekend getaway! The house is absolutely beautiful with so much space. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful. The view in the morning will put you right at peace for the day! Can't recommend this place enough!

We absolutely loved our stay! The hosts truly thought of every detail. Our group felt so at home and peaceful in this beautiful cabin! The private lake is stunning and peaceful. The kitchen is fully stocked. We will absolutely be coming back!

I can’t tell you how peaceful and beautiful this place is. We had a family vacation planned here and now we plan on coming back here next year. The fishing and kayaking were perfect and at night the fire pits were perfect way to end the night. The house is big and spacious. Hot tub area is a place you can relax while still being close to the area of grilling and socializing. I can’t wait till next year. I promise you won’t be disappointed when you stay here.

My large family really enjoyed our stay at the cabin! The place far exceeded our expectations! The seasonal cabin was a nice added bonus to our stay. There was plenty to do and plenty of room. The place was clean and well taken care of. The hosts were amazing with directions and responsiveness. I would highly recommend this cabin and my family would definitely come back here for another vacation!

Such a beautiful property with the house on a 3 acre lake. There was plenty of space for our kids and grandkids to spread out. So many beautiful touches in the home. We also enjoyed the hot tub. It was appreciated that they left 5 kayaks and a paddle boat for us. There also is a separate cabin that we used. Just beautiful!

The Bolivar Lake Lodge was absolutely perfect! Perfect for a weekend getaway in Ohio. The property is private and serene. The house is beautiful and well taken care of. All of the host were very friendly and responsive. I would highly recommend staying here.

If you are looking for someplace quiet and relaxing to gather with friends and family this is your place! Hosts were fantastic! Very accommodating and thorough with the presentation of the property. It felt like a 5 star resort hotel inside with the outdoors and nature just steps away. Lake was great, good fishing and wildlife watching. We highly recommend and can't wait to book it again!

The Bolivar Lake Lodge was everything and more than we expected and we could not have asked for better hosts for our wedding weekend. As a team they were responsive, friendly and very helpful to make our stay everything we hoped for and Mary Beth went ABOVE & BEYOND to make it truly unforgettable. The scenic property is private with its own trails and includes kayaks, fishing gear and ample spaces to entertain your entire party or relax and enjoy a secluded weekend. Whether it’s a family reunion or a weekend getaway you will not be disappointed. We cannot wait to get back and are already planning our next visit!

This was a great family friendly getaway. Everything was great. The kids loved the bonus cabin as well as all of the outdoor activities that were available (kayaking, paddle boat, hiking, fishing). We would love to make this an annual trip.

Our extended family stayed here for two nights and it was better than we imagined and are already planning on another stay! First of all, since booking, communication has always been very quick, proactive, and friendly. The hosts were always very responsive and very clear on the instructions for check in and check out. The place was SO clean that I kept commenting on it! My family was able to just come in and start relaxing! The inside was just as beautiful as the outside. We all had a nice time enjoying fishing, kayaking, playing games, going in the hot tub, and just overall relaxing. There was enough to do around the cabin to keep us entertained without having to leave. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a clean, beautiful, private getaway. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

This was a wonderful retreat and great hosts. We appreciated the welcome treat and the responsiveness to any questions. We stayed with 3 children, 1 infant and 8 adults. Everyone was very pleased and we would love to plan another family weekend there together again! Thanks for a beautiful place to relax!

We loved our stay at the Lake Lodge! The pond was lovely, the home expansive with plenty of space for our group, and everything felt perfectly clean and comfortable upon arrival. We and a great time by the fire on the first night, and plenty of space during a rainy second night.

I've stayed in a lot of Airbnbs (and manage 65 of them myself) and this is honestly just one of the best I've ever seen. The place itself was amazing, with great decor, all the amenities we needed, and an A+ setting. The hosts were super attentive with great local recommendations, and they even left us fresh baked cookies and some local beers! 10/10 would stay again!

This place was absolutely beautiful inside and out! Everything was super clean and I have never stayed in a place that was so stocked with supplies. My family enjoyed their time on the water and the layout of the house was great! We hope to come again next year!! The hosts were wonderful and super responsive even with a power outage at 5am. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the outdoors!

Where do I even begin ??? This is literally a piece of heaven ! When we arrived the homemade chocolate chip cookies were amazing ! My husband and I brought our mom and boys for a week get away. So much to do there from Trails, kayaks, fishing, paddle boat or relax in the beautiful hot tub! The hosts are ABSOLUTELY amazing! If you are looking to relax or have fun this is by far the best place to make memories EVER!!!! Very clean and if you forget stuff they have EVERYTHING there ! Look forward to going back !

Lots of cute touches here! Great beds and linens and the hostesses left cookies and balloons for our birthday group. Definitely would stay again!

It is a great location near the Tow Path, the town of Zoar, and New Philly, where our group enjoyed the serenity. There are plenty of places to hang out with each other in the house and the house and deck are big enough to spread out.

Every person in our group of seven was more than satisfied and would stay again! The serenity of the pond, the spaciousness of the outdoor seating areas, the coziness of the fire pit, the relaxation of the hot tub, and the cleanliness and character of the cabin intertwined to create a blissful weekend getaway! STOP SEARCHING…STAY HERE!

The cabin was great for our fall weekend getaway! The views were spectacular. The property felt private and secluded without being hard to find or get to. The house itself was very clean, we had what we needed in the kitchen to cook meals easily. We had good cell service. Laura provided great info, communicated timely and clearly. Overall an amazing stay, thanks!

Our stay at this beautiful home was nothing short of perfect! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the attention to detail and the resort-style amenities. The house was thoughtfully designed and decorated to make every moment of our stay comfortable and memorable. We especially loved the hiking trails, the hot tub room, and the kayaks — everything was so well taken care of and added a special touch to our weekend getaway. The firepit was perfect for evening relaxation, and every room in the house was a joy to experience. It was clear that the hostesses went above and beyond to make sure every guest felt welcomed and taken care of. Their hospitality was unmatched, and they were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. I’ve stayed in many Airbnbs, but I’ve never experienced one so clean! I was genuinely impressed by how spotless the house was, and I couldn’t find a single spider web anywhere – it’s clear that the hosts take great pride in maintaining the property. ❤️

We enjoyed our Friendsgiving stay so much that our group has already discussed returning! The property is private and peaceful. Laura and her team did not miss any detail! The cabin is spotless and the decor flows and is so stylish. The bedding is fresh and so comfy. The hot tub space is perfect! I highly recommend this property! Laura is very responsive, however, we did not need her much at all since she already had the place stocked and ready to go with thorough, simple instructions for everything! We look forward to returning and making more memories!

Selfishly, I would like to write a negative review to keep this place all my own, but it deserves to be shared. I was so impressed by the cleanliness, aesthetics, and privacy this rental offered. You will feel like you are at a resort with the comfortable beds (sheets were incredible), hot tub room/spa, and amenities left by the owners. While we were there for Thanksgiving, I can only imagine how incredible the property is when the weather is warm. This property is a gem and worthy of its 5-star reviews. Kids, parents, and grandparents will love this spot. Do yourself a favor and rent the additional cabin on the property. It is worth every penny. We will be back.

Our family had an incredible time! The private lake made it feel exclusive and a rare find. The game room was fun for all of us playing pool and cards while watching the games. Amazing experience in this one of a kind property.

Perfect weekend getaway for our large group. Everything was as described. Beautiful property. Very responsive host. We made wonderful memories and hope to return!

I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb with my group of 14! The house was spacious, with clean and comfortable rooms that accommodated everyone perfectly. The lake was absolutely stunning, and we loved spending time soaking in the hot tub while enjoying the view. At night, the stargazing was incredible – a truly magical experience. Laura and Mary Beth were fantastic to communicate with and always responded promptly to our needs, making the whole experience seamless. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

Never had an experience quite like this. High quality location in pristine condition. Communication was by far the best I’ve experienced! We stayed for a family Christmas Celebration and would highly recommend others experience the Bolivar Lodge!

So we had our family Christmas in the cabin (6 adults 3 kids) and we couldn't ask for more enjoyable Christmas. The cabin was decorated so nice and tasteful for the holidays. The views from the kitchen and living area is just amazing. Clean rooms, all great sizes. Fresh linens and big fluffy towels. And the outside exploring was just as fun as well. Can't say enough good things about our stay. Oh wait, I can. The hot tube was on point for those chilly evening. We even got to build a fire. As they had firewood available. So if your wondering, YES it's worth it.!!!

We do an annual trip between Christmas & New Years with my children and grandchildren. Your home was very beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing. Saturday turned out to be a perfect day for the grandchildren to fish and explore the beautiful outdoors. Many enjoyed the hot tub. It really was a great experience to play games and share family time with the 14 of us. Your home accommodated the large group beautifully. Thanks for making us feel right at home.

I stayed here with 8 other friends for a nice relaxing weekend trip and it was great! We had an absolute blast! Everything was clean when we got there. The house was honestly bigger than we all thought. legit felt like a maze for a minute lol! We actually plan on returning in the fall because of how amazing it was!! All in all 5 stars!! :)
